This scholarship is available for West African students aspiring to study at the University of Oxford in the UK. Graduate students from diverse backgrounds, aged 25 to 45, are invited to apply. The AIG Scholarship aims to support individuals with exceptional academic records, leadership qualities, and commitment.

Scholarship Type: Fully Funded Scholarship

Scholarship Coverage: Full tuition fees, accommodation, and living expenses.

Number of Awards: mostly six candidates.

Study Level: Master’s degree level.

Nationality: West African Countries (i.e., Nigeria and Ghana only)

Eligibility Criteria

  • Be a Nigerian currently working in the public sector (Ministries, Departments, Agencies & Parastatals) at either Federal or State levels.
  • Must be between 25 and 45 years old.
  • Have a minimum of seven (7) years (combined private & public sector) work experience.
  • Have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of second-class upper qualification.

Program Details

  • Financial Support: Funding will be provided for tuition, living expenses, and a stipend for a summer project.

  • Career Development: AIG Scholars will receive comprehensive support to plan their career development paths and access wondrous opportunities. This will help them leverage the knowledge gained at Oxford.
