Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must meet the following criteria:
1) For Undergraduate Courses:
- Applicants must be under 25 years of age as of March 1st in the selection year.
- Applicants should have (or are expected to) successfully complete all elementary, middle, and high school coursework by March 1st in the selection year.

- Applicants must be under the age of 40 as of September 1st in the selection year.
- Applicants must hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree by February 28th in the selection year.
- Current professors from ODA recipient countries among the invited nations are eligible if they are under the age of 45 as of September 1st in the selection year.
3) Common Requirements for Both:
- Applicants and both of their parents must be foreigners; dual Korean nationality is not recognized as an alien status.
- Applicants should be in good mental and physical health, and capable of studying abroad in Korea for an extended period.
- Applicants must have a grade point average (GPA) of 80% or higher for all coursework completed at their most recent educational institution.
- Individuals currently enrolled in or who have graduated from a university or graduate school in Korea are not eligible to apply.
